The Danube freezes....

These pictures were taken a few days ago in Silistra by our good friends Mick and Ilva.
Looking across to Romania you can see the Danube is beginning to slowly freeze over.


















These pics below were taken from the banks of the Danube at Vetren earlier this month.The river had not begun to freeze then but the river bank had.
